Theory and Practice of Art

I went to a Fine Arts College.
The oldest in my country.

And I enrolled in this dubious major called "Visual Communiation".
Even now I can't really tell you whatzit about. to simply say its advertising! is a stretch
but i guess the best way to describe it is

art with money.

yep.

But that's contradictory na.
can that really happen?

I wish I had more theory courses on the "practice of art"
is there such a thing?

cause i'm perennially plagued with this problem...

sometimes i'm just so uninspired.
and that really affects my work, especially if you do it for a living like I do.
there are some days when you just don't want to work.
to think. to create.

I guess what bothers me really is:
for artists are we excused to have "uninspired days"
cause to the outsider it simply means laziness...

or it doesn't count?

since i don't do "art"
what is art?
