Magpasa-love ng ilaw ni Bro

Here in the Philippines during Christmas despite all the bad things that have happened and are happening...

the floods, the Maguindanao Massacre,
this Farce of an Election (don't get me started)

I still look forward to the Christmas Station IDs of the two rival broadcasting networks in the country. ABS-CBN and GMA. Kapamilya (part of the family) and Kapuso (a person after our own heart).

And this year I like them both.
Cause this Christmas 09 is really special...with so many of us who have nothing left--how do you keep the Christmas spirit alive?

GMA's answer is that--we have to share the love

"ipasa na, ipasa mo, ang pagmamahal--magpasa-love,
sama sama tayong mgpasalove...ngayong Pasko"
(share it now, share the love, all of us let's share it...this Christmas)

ABS's answer is--God will see us through


"ang sindi nitong ilaw walang iba kundi Ikaw, salamat sa liwanag mo,
muling magkakakulay ang Pasko"
(the spark of this light is no one but You, and it would bring color/life again this Christmas)
