It is a shame that i carry around the mass paperback ed with the miramax cover (ughhh i know) but what can i do... makes me want to go to the UP Library and borrow a vintage copy (as if i had access). am not too big on hardbacks but the first ed? *salivating
but besides liking it so far (privileged life at Oxford, reading History, vacation in Venice, talk of art...) meron akong naisip. If I ever had a grad pic photo (I never had mine taken) with matching creative shot--i know kung ano ako...
i want to be the Earl of Brideshead! yep i want to look like stiff and boring Bridey LOL! with a cigar in my mouth, my (unruly) hair sticking to my scalp, with musty books in the background--backlighted by a big window with a view of the fountain with Charles Ryder and Lord Sebastian Flyte staring at each other hands on the back of my leather chair...
SHIT!
i can see it impeccably art directed in my mind.
