I liked Malfoy's Suit

\Watched "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" yesterday at AliMall.

with the renovation still unfinished, don't hesitate. The cinemas are nice--free seating nga lang. It's like a mini-gateway...o extension ng Gateway LOL! But the changes are much welcome. I grew up in Cubao--it was the mall of my childhood--so hurrah, for the changes.

How was it for me?

It was okay.

It was more of, "am relieved the plot is falling into place."

I felt that it lacked action and more MAGIC.

Heck! even the final Quidditch game in the books wasn't at all that exciting.

--and don't get me started on the "lightning struck tower" -- such a drag.

I don't know if it was intentional, but didn't you feel like the Harry Potter universe just seemed small in the movie? parang it was the same sets over and over again. I don't know, pero I wanted an epic, as in like Jackson's Lord of the Rings.

but to give the film a break, I never really liked book six much... maybe it was because the book was mostly backstory and fillers--for the final book. Kaya siguro it was really hard to let it stand as a feature film-- or dahil wala lang kasing Voldemort scenes? LOL

basta...it didn't feel that dark to me, and this is supposed to be the book where everything's going down hill na, the dark lord is ascending! --sana pinakita din yung conflict with the ministry of magic... ewan

and the acting is still kinda bad. cringe inducing moment yung crying scene ni Hermione.
atsaka, watzup with Ginny and Harry??? it feels forced. It just feels forced.

I wish Rowling opted for a love triangle nalang Ron, Harry and Hermione--it makes much more sense. Much more interesting! Heck baka mas yun pa yung pag-usapan, "Sino Pipiliin ni Hermione?"

pero sige, pwede na.

and I liked Draco Malfoy's suit, dapper-bad-ass indeed.
