Destiny Cable TV

Oo, naka-destiny lang kami.

Sky used to be an option, LOL heck! nung nakikikabit lang kami sa kapitbahay namin. (They've given their consent naman.) I remember the continuous anti-cable theft ads they aired every now and then, and a little guilt rushes over me.

Sky Cable got more rigorous with detecting illegal cable connections when graduation time came. It used to be like 6 months before our cable gets wrenched out... but in 2007 after clean sweeping off cords we were never able to get our cable back. It turned out yung kapitbahay din namin ay hindi narin nagbabayad ng cable at nakikikabit narin lang sa isa pang kapitbahay namin. LOL

Kaya ayun. We managed to survive for 5 months without cable. Until I've had enough and decided to get one legally. I was a bit cocky then since I felt I was working already, hell! no big deal! but as soon as I saw the rates of Skycable 1300+ for Platinum plan (depending on the pack) and 800+ something on the silver channel (wala pang Discovery Channel!)

---> I said f*ck it.

I am switching to Destiny!!!

Hahaha

paying 1K a month is still not an option for me. My celfone is still on prepaid! so, no way.
It's a trade off, but for the cheap price of 450, with decent channels naman sige, patulan ko na--they even have Discovery Travel and Living and the History Channel as standard channels so that was kinda reason enough

So here we are.
More than a year na kami sa Destiny.

And this September for an additional 50pesos meron na silang National Geographic!
LOL

Na-miss ko din yung Nat Geo.

Sympre lifestyle network din (no more Giada de laurentis!), Animax (Animax! huhuhu)
pati Star World and Star Movies.

but heyyy, it's all good.

Muntik na nga lang akong bumalik sa Sky nung malaman kong wala ng TV5monde!!!
for a couple of days lang naman, I guess dahil sa channel shuffling and maintenance.

How can I start the day without watching Le Journal? or C dans L'air!!!

Non. non. non. C'est impossible!

LOL.

PS

Have you seen District 9?
LOVE IT!
