Sunlight Burns My Eyes

This is getting frustrating. NO matter how much I want to allot time to study,I just find myself exhausted when I get home. This is not good. I can squeeze class hours with work, yes, but that's just about it.

On top of that I've been trying to type properly on the keyboard since last week. That entails unlearning almost a decade of typing with (mainly) my index finger. Tssk Tssk Tssk. How I wish I paid more attention during typing class in school--wait I didn't have typing class in school. I'm having an inkling that I'll be typing a helluvalot this next few years churning paper after paper, touch-typing is a more efficient way of word processing, yes, i have realized and have accepted it. Coz it is really much faster to get things done while you look at the screen and see your thoughts, as if magically appearing out of nothingness hehehe. so practice, practice, practice.

This period before the Christmas vacation will just be a period of transition, i feel. I have to catch up on a ton of readings, books, papers, and whatever and hope to God I pass in March. I really have new found respect for working students. It ain't easy! I believe you!

Not to mention how expensive studying can be! I'm struggling to save something. anything. but it seems like i just have to deal with it, the transportation expenses alone is a big burden on my pocket. And the books i need! how expensive...well as of now, I'm deciding of having my own copy of the Norton Anthology of Theory and Criticism. Since I really can't borrow it out of the college library since it is Reserved... I feel like I'd be referring to it a lot this semester, so there. I'll be ordering via Amazon.com and the price? I think it's going to cost me Php 5,000! shit. the cost itself is hindering me from highlighting it's pages or something. and I'm buying a new bookcase by the end of the month. there is totally zero shelf space at home already and as of now I'm sleeping with two piles of books on my bed ...and soon I'd die of bibliographic landslide--in my sleep!

but now, I have work to do.
