Capote
When Capote came out in 2005 I remained uninterested despite of the Oscar buzz. But thanks to HBO (Now my default rerun channel for every movie I wasn’t willing to pay a ticket for) now I regret it—immensely.
Because I think this movie is brilliant.
Philip Seymour Hoffman was so good! Man! he should’ve won like 10 Oscars.
And there were a lot of poweful/sublime moments in the film that came off as simply arresting.
Especially the complicated relationship that developed between Capote and the killer— and that confession scene, wow.
(SPOILER)
How the killer decided to become the man his victim perceived him to be.
Beautiful.
Watch it
