Ballots, Envelopes

Oscar nominations are in:

And "Atonement" is still strong, though its lead actors McAvoy and Knightley got snubbed same goes with director Joe Wright. It's ok, it's still got nominated for Best Picture and Best Supporting actress--and tan tannan! Best Musical score.

Cate Blanchett got two nominations Best Actress & Best Supporting Actress--wow. Well she's really good so I'm pleased with the news. And Laura Linney got nominated again for "The Savages" as Best Actress. I hope she wins one soon. Like Naomi Watts I think she is very underrated.

I wanna see Marion Cottilard in "La Vien Rose" she's beautiful, and I remember her starring in "Big Fish", "A Very Long Engagement" and "A Good Year".

But nothing prepared me to hear the untimely death of Heath Ledger.

Really a surprise, sad news.
